Global Interactions (GI) is a non-profit organization whose focus is to build partnerships between U.S. and international colleagues in order to further the exchange of best practices, research, and technologies. With 23 years of experience in China, GI is confident that school and institutional partnerships between American and Asian education institutions are the most opportune means for promoting understanding and sustaining relationships. These partnerships create mutually beneficial outcomes for students and educators to be contributing and productive global citizens, and to be successful in the global marketplace. Often schools and institutions require information and skills on how to develop and build sustainable relationships in an international context. That is the purpose of our April 2008 American - Asia Summit on Education Partnerships.
The five major strands for the Summit are:
Experts who have developed successful partnership programs in the areas listed above will be invited to present and describe how others can be engaged through the programs they will create and develop at the Summit. In short, the program includes a menu of options that will support building sustainable American and Asia education partnerships.
