Title: Science In Motion Survey Design and Data Analysis

Description: RBS provides summary design and data analysis for assessment of the science professional development practices and needs relevant to K-12 teachers in the Juniata College service area. Specifically, RBS:

  • Provided descriptive statistics summarizing data collected as a part of the needs assessment survey.
  • Designed a new needs assessment survey to be administered to K-12 teachers.

Outcomes: To date, Juniata College has used data generated from a first survey to make decisions about professional development delivery and has begun administering a new needs assessment survey to get at finer points.
