Recent Evaluation Projects

Title: Mid-Atlantic Eisenhower Consortium at RBS

Dates: 2000- 2005

Description: In conjunction with the ten other members of the Eisenhower Regional Consortia and National Clearinghouse Network, RBS conducted a comprehensive evaluation the Mid-Atlantic Eisenhower Consortium for Mathematics and Science Education and the Eisenhower Network as a whole. The majority of this work has been based on the federal Performance Indicators for the Consortia, which focus on technical assistance, including professional development, and dissemination of resources. Specifically, RBS:

  • Designed surveys, qualitative protocols, ACCESS and SPSS databases, and evaluation reports.
  • Worked collaboratively with internal and external staff.
  • Created and supported an organizational infrastructure that ensured smooth collection of data.
  • Performed descriptive and inferential statistical analyses.
  • Wrote evaluation reports.
  • Made programmatic recommendations.
  • Worked with staff to better understand data to support formative improvement decisions.

Outcomes: The Consortia made programming decisions about mathematics and science professional development and dissemination as a product of the data presented.
