Title: Camden Center for Youth Development

Collaborating Agencies: CCYD, Woodland Baptist Church, Camden YMCA, and Camden Municipal Court

Dates: 2004 - 2005

Description: RBS provides evaluation services for the Camden Center for Youth Development, which delivers parenting classes, vocational services, and youth development services to parents and students at an alternative secondary school in Camden, NJ. Specifically, RBS:

  • Designed surveys, and qualitative protocols.
  • Designed and built ACCESS and SPSS databases.
  • Designed and implemented evaluation methods.
  • Created and supported an organizational structure that ensured the smooth collection of data.
  • Performed both descriptive and inferential statistical analyses.
  • Worked collaboratively with CCYD staff.
  • Wrote evaluation reports.
  • Made programmatic recommendations.
  • Worked with staff to better understand data to support formative improvement decisions.

Outcomes: Data-driven programming decisions about parenting classes, vocational services, and youth development services were made by stakeholders as a product of the information presented.
