This initiative, often called "service integration," attempts to integrate the delivery of services through collaborations that include schools as well as major health and social service providers. The perspective in this monograph is on rural schools and community agencies, particularly those that address the needs of traditionally underserved and underrepresented populations.
The primary target audiences are rural school teachers and administrators, as well as their colleagues in health and social service agencies, who need to address a number of unresolved problems and still-to-be-answered questions.
