Math Circus Act 3Math Circus, designed for grades K-6, provides innovative problem-solving programs.
Math Circus Act 3 contains 12 puzzles, all loosely based around the theme of a circus. The puzzles are "mathematical" in that they promote reasoning and develop a wide variety of mathematical skills, but they are certainly not just drill-and-practice. They are better described as problem-solving activities, designed to stimulate the student and provide clear thinking in an enjoyable and challenging manner. The 12 puzzles each have ten levels of difficult: five basic levels and five advanced levels. Math Circus Act 3 provides practice and enhancements for a wide range of skills. Puzzles involve arithmetic, positive and negative numbers, spatial awareness, two and three dimensional geometry, direction and angles, compass bearings, time, and vectors. Several puzzles involve simple programming, planning a sequence of moves in advance and executing them.
All Math Circus CDs are dual platform for Windows and Macintosh.
