Structure a unit of study based on a motorized 8-foot K'NEX Roller Coaster. The focus of the project based curriculum is Applied Technology, integrating Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies. Students explore and experiment as they plan, build, operate and maintain a theme park roller coaster. Lessons include "design and make" activities that present each team with a design brief for which they need to devise a solution.
