Expanding videos to full screen

Videos can be easily expanded to the full screen on computers that run Windows Internet Explorer and have RealPlayer and Flash software installed. However, to expand to full screen on a Macintosh, the following steps are required:

1. Open the CD and find the folder with the code that corresponds to the lesson from the list below. Open that folder.

2. Open the folder named "Videos."

3. Find the file that begins with the lesson code (see the above list), followed by letters "TR.smil" (e.g., NB10311023TR.smil). Double-click on that file or drag and drop it onto the RealOne player icon.

Note for Mac OS X users

The START HERE file contained on disc 4 was created before Mac OS X could be used with the LessonLab platform. Therefore, double-clicking on that icon will take you to Classic mode and an older Web browser. To launch LessonLab from the CD you need to open the CD and drag the file default.htm onto the Netscape 7 icon.

LessonLab for Mac OS X requires that you have Netscape 7 and RealOne installed. If you need to install this software, you may use the LessonLab installer for OS X, which installs both Netscape 7 and RealOne. The installer is included on disc 4, or you can download the latest version from: http://st2c2mll01.connectria.com/help/systest/macstart.htm#installerOS-X
