On January 25 and 26, RBS will host a new webinar: Creating Carefully Matched Comparison Groups: An Introduction to Propensity Score Matching. This webinar will introduce you to the theoretical basis of propensity score matching (PSM) and its applications. You will learn how to create statistically matched comparison groups using the following steps:

  • importing and exporting data files between Excel and R,
  • assessing the covariate balance before and after the matching,
  • fitting a propensity score model to the data,
  • estimating the program effect after the matching and assessing potential hidden bias(es).
